Come and meet Father Stan as he joins us from Uganda for this event.
A well costs $10,000.00 to install in Alenga, Uganda. If 100 people join us and raise $100.00 each, we can drill a well and save lives.
Just ask friends and family to sponsor you to Walk for Wells Please go online to register, so that you can create a team and make fundraising easy. Sponsors can pay on line at www.notekaracel.org or with cash or check. Checks are made to Noté Karacel and are tax deductible. Please arrive with any non on line sponsored money. Jack Ryan, Freshman at North Central College has organized this event. Please come out and support him in his efforts. Jack has visited Alenga, Uganda and has seen with his own eyes the great need. Together we can make a difference! T-shirts, Note Cards, and Hand made jewelry and purses from Uganda, Will be on sale as well. In solidarity with our friends in Alenga we will not serve food or beverage at this event. We will carry gallons of water as we walk to experience in a very small way the struggle of walking a distance to collect water from the Nile River. In Alenga some women walk hours to collect dirty water for their house hold use.
